i did the timed mile today in pe but forgot my running clothes so my teacher had me do it in my jeans but i beat my rec by 10 seconds and i could have done alot better if i would have had my running shoes and shorts but im really happy i beat my old time

Good job on your PR in the mile, that's awesome! Running lots, it just in getting used to it - gradually increasing as you body can handle it. Eventually, you'll be running plenty more than 3 miles and it'll be easy. Just keep up the running and be consistent!
